So one of the so called "compassionate" GOP think that those of us who are poor are in some way envious of the rich. Why would I be envious of companies who literally steal from the government in the form of tax refunds when they pay NOTHING in taxes ? Why would I be envious of big oil who again pay nothing in taxes but get refunds and subsidies all of which they then use to buy our politicians and whatever influence they think those politicians have ? I am envious of the uber rich who can take advantage of tax loopholes all while overshoring billions of dollars and cheating the government out of legitimate tax revenue ?
I hate to inform the most recent idiot to coin that thought Mr Paul Ryan of Wisconsin. All I want to do is SURVIVE Mr Ryan. I don't have a golden nest egg for my retirement set forward by the hardworking tax payers who you so blatantly defile. I don't have free for life health insurance again paid for by those to whom you should answer. All I want to do is to be able to EAT and have a roof over my head. Ya know those basic survival points that so many including you take for granted ?
I have made mistakes in my past when it comes to budgets. I have made mistakes in my past when it comes to credit card debt. I am not perfect far from it. But I detest the fact that I have paid into social security all my working life but by the time I get there and have been promised a payment per month I will have nothing. All while the rich are getting away with what amounts to legal theft all courtesy of loopholes put in place by our elected officials.
What amazes me most is that the very people who are sent to Washington to look out for the people they are supposed to represent are more worried about themselves than they are about fairness and justice. This is probably something that has been going on for longer than I have been a registered voter but I have become much more conscious of it since my vote has gotten placed into the mix. And I find it funny that some of the same people like Mr Ryan who assume that I have Economic Envy have no problems taking my tax dollars. Well Mr Ryan and Mr Paul and the lot of you so called compassionate conservatives I would personally like to ask for a refund.
